David has over 30 years industry experience, his longstanding career started in the Commonwealth Bank in 1988 across multiple roles including personal and commercial lending, relationship management of high valued clients and branch manager. It’s this extensive experience in the banking world that led David to building his own business and creating “a personal banker experience” for JV clients. David’s philosophy is to work for you not the banks.
Since its establishment, JV mortgages has expanded to Wollongong and most recently the Gold Coast. The expansion of JV is supported by an experienced team of loan writers and an association with Connective who are one of the largest aggregating groups in the Broker Market.

Michael has over 32 years banking and finance experience, including 18 years with the Commonwealth Bank where he held various management and lending positions in the Illawarra region up until 2004 at which he then worked as a mortgage broker for the last 14 years specialising in commercial lending.
As the surname and the extensive industry experience may suggest, Michael and David are brothers and JV prides itself on being a family run business.

Mark has been involved in finance since graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Business. He then started his own business providing accounting software to law firms until 2005. Following this he worked with national businesses in the areas of finance and property investment advice joining the JV Group in 2013. Mark is a Qualified Property Investment Advisor (QPIA) and has a Certificate IV in Mortgage and Finance Broking.
Mark’s ability to explain complex property and finance structures in an easily understood manner is a great strength that his client’s really appreciate and get a lot of value from.
Karyn Bryant

Karyn has had 30 years experience in banking after commencing a Traineeship with the Commonwealth Bank in 1987 where she performed various roles which included lending. After spending 14 years in the bank, Karyn spent a few years at home raising her two children, before returning to the work part time at a Mortgage broking company in Wollongong where she the next 11 years.
JV welcomed Karyn into the team in 2017 and is now the lead processing manager.
